My Brain On Paper

I'm Emmanuela. But you can call me Ela. 

I'm a multi-faceted Nigerian-American strategist, writer, and businesswoman with over 15 years of experience in various areas related to marketing and advertising. 

Since childhood I have lived at the intersection of quantitative and qualitative thinking. One of my favorite commercials as a child featured sunglasses that resembled a pair I owned. My child brain thought the sunglasses moved from my home to the commercial each time it aired, so one day I conducted an experiment. When the commercial aired, I ran to the drawer where the sunglasses lived to check they were still there. They were. This core memory reflects my indistinguishable love for creativity and science. 

For the last 10 years I have worked in advertising as an account manager and a strategist. I've experienced many wins in my career and along the way, I have gone on several side missions that have honed my skills as a strategist, strengthened my writing ability, and increased my business acumen.
